Beautiful underwater scenery, realistic showings of the catastrophic events climate change is having on our planet.

Like "Chasing Ice", this movie is about showing that "the environment" isn't just some abstract thing. This one shows about the underwater coral reefs bleaching over, and the catastrophic events that will happen to the underwater ecosystems. It presents plenty of visual data, showing that this is happening right before our very eyes. Like Chasing Ice, it has many beautiful scenery shots, and shows the process of getting the information, and shows how unprecedented this is. It is all profound. Along with Chasing Ice, this should be a supplement to the many other documentaries about climate change, because on its own, some really dense people might deny this. Also, this movie fails to show how the bleaching of coral reefs affects humans. Since some people only care about the environment if it is directly affecting them, it would have helped. But this is still a must-watch, along with Chasing Ice.

Beautiful film and moving message

Inspired by the film Chasing Ice, filmmakers set out to document coral bleaching with time lapse cameras to expose the hidden world of our oceans in crisis. The film is really informative about coral as an organism, it's role in marine ecosystems and why it bleaches. There are interviews with a range of coral experts, scientists and marine biologists as well as the teams resident coral enthusiast. The film itself shows both the technical and emotional struggles faced by the team to capture the time lapse. The film itself is full of gorgeous shots of the coral and you can tell the team is really passionate about what they are documenting a making a difference. This film does feature a small amount of strong language. Overall the film is moving, informative and emotional; a must watch.
