Children of the Corn

I enjoyed watching this movie, but it was really bad. Most scary movies at least get me a little tense but this one was just impossible to be scared of. There is some violence but the blood doesn´t always look real and it´s not that gruesome. The dialogue can feel scripted and awkward at some points but I never really minded cause it was funny. I thought this movie was fun and I´m definitely gonna quote it from now on, I would watch if your bored or want to watch something not to scary during Halloween.

It was a great movie and i loved the storyline. I watched tghe the movie when i was 10 and was fine. Definetly thik you should watch it. Do not recomend for kids who get scared easily. There is also not much swearing or violence. Recommended

This movie has an weird/interesting concept with the children's cult. There is brutal killings and some very cheesy graphics. Otherwise the movie is pretty good.

“OUTLANDERRRR… WE HAVE YOUR WOMAN!!” LOL! This movie can be scary depending on who you are, but it’s actually really funny at the same time. I found it to be a really good movie, and it is the kind of movie that really makes you wonder what’s happening and leaves you on the edge of your seat. I wouldn’t recommend this film to anyone under the age of at least 12 or 13 only because it’s really dark and violent. There is a scene in a diner in the opening of the movie where the kids murder the adults in violent ways, and there is a lot of gore. There’s also a scene where a dog runs into the corn fields, and the children kill it (happens offscreen). The owner finds the dog’s collar and breaks down crying, and this may be a bit heavy for some younger viewers. The overall tone of the film can be kind of disturbing, as it is literally about a cult of children that worship a demonic entity and believe they have to kill all of the adults. There is a bit of swearing in this movie too, but nothing really bad. The worst they say is the word s@$&, and they only say it a couple of times. I don’t remember there being any f bombs in it or anything. So yeah, that’s my review 4/5 stars, and it should be okay for ages 12+ as long as you like horror, and know not to rein-act what you see in this movie in real life.

I saw Children of the corn recently and thought for an eighties movie it was very effective. The cast is great and the score sends chills down mu spine. I've watched it three times so far and it's my new favourite film.

A lot of people are saying it is way to violent but if you don't get scared of horror movies you should definitely try out this movie. A lot of stabbing and violence goes on but I just looked away.

I need to say this now - how will kids be scared by this? It’s about children who kill anybody over 18. I’d recommend watching it before you’re 18. Anyways, aside from a little gore, it’s a goofy slasher that is unintentionally hilarious at times, but still a fun watch.

Great movie! Some flirting and kissing at beginning but it doesn't go farther than that. There are some throat slicings and stabbings, although gore and blood is minimal. A man cuts his chest in a satan symbol(Not very realistic, no gore) and a dog is killed but all that is shown is his bloody bandana. Overall, it's not too inappropriate and I think this is an ok movie for kids around 12-13 and up.
