Curse of Chucky

This movie is an ok movie, I love how they try bringing Chucky back to scary after his last movie which was mostly comedy. There is a scene where a woman has an affair with the nanny. Some kissing scenes. Nothing not for tweens. There are violence and swear words. There are scenes where the family drinks though I dont remember smoking.

I think the only people giving this a good review are family friends of the Actors or the actors themselves. Plot: non-existent, sex: gratuitous and aimed at teenage boys, scares: ridiculous (20-something nanny in lingerie murdered while having video sex with employers wife). Add a wheelchair bound hottie (wheelchair from Neiman Marcus made of steel with no cushions) and people running around a house at night making noise and screaming at the top of their lungs while others just peacefully sleep, and you have one big pile of crap. Do not waist your time.

This movie is stupid. There. Plain and simple. It isn't very good. I watched it with my 13 year old son for halloween and neither of us were scared. There was one jumpscare that got both of us a bit, but no actual scares. In terms of violence, it was pretty gory, but not as bad as other famous horror films. You get to see someone's head being chopped off, a throat being slit and other somewhat brutal things. (The ones I've mentioned are the worst). I was very disappointed by the animation in this, some of it was worse than Terminator, and that was made in the 80s. I think the creators did an awful job, it wasn't scary, wasn't funny, wasn't realistic, was just about entertaining. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone really, it's the worst film my son has ever watched, one of the worst I've watched, and is also too gory for under 13s and some over 13s. Oh yeah and there's a couple of F bombs.

Amazing addition to the Child’s play franchise, gory, scary and filled with jumpscares. Great movie

Curse of Chucky is a really good sequel to the franchise with some extra ordinary frights and creative deaths. 18 - only for adults. Containing violence and gore, much swearing but few sexual references. Great fun to watch for horror movie fans!

Of note, the nanny and mother have an extended scene in which they make out. The movie flashes back to this scene several times. Later, the nanny is shown undressing and is shown in bra & underwear. The nanny then proceeds to video chat in her underwear.
