What's the Story?

DUDE PERFECT: THE HERO TOUR brings the popular YouTube group's sold-out stadium tour to the big screen. Trick-shot competitions, "Cool or Not Cool" show and tell, and zany comedy skits take place on stage in front of a huge crowd, while the camera also captures shenanigans going on backstage. The five goofy Christian "Dudes"—Cody Jones, Tyler Toney, Garrett Hilbert, and twins Coby and Cory Cotton—are joined by YouTube magician Zach King for the show.

With little tricky content in this YouTube group's sold-out stadium shot, letting your kid see this energetic event is an easy win. The Dudes keep the action moving and encourage audiences to join in the fun, so if you watch with a crowd, expect them to be shouting answers at the screen or dancing in the aisles.

Whether you're already a fan of the athletic group or not, Tyler, Cody, Cory, Coby, and Garrett provide plenty of silly fun while demonstrating what it means to be a good friend—and a great sport. They're competitive to the core, but they tease each other in a way that's affectionate, never mean. Surprisingly, these trick-shot kings fail—a lot. Laughing when they come up short and cheering when anyone in the group succeeds: As role models, these Dudes are pretty perfect.
