The lead actor was extremely good in this film. The movie was genuinely creepy. There's something about horror films with children as the lead that sets them apart from other horror movies. Excellent cast in this movie as well.

It’s okay for grade 7 not 6

It’s okay for any mature 12 year old and up

Promising but ultimately dumb horror

Violence 6/10. Characters are hurled around, set on fire. Dead bodies seen in a well. Jumpscares. More graphically: a mans face is pushed in until it explodes. Language 5/10. Some strong language. A fun watch but ultimately disappointing and frustratingly dumb.

I watched it with my kids

If you can handle the walking dead, you can handle this. Yes there is a few f bombs, and some intense scenes. No nudity, but some gore. I won't post spoilers, but it's a great October movie, or anytime movie. I personally loved it. I wouldn't say kids younger than 12 should watch this. It honestly depends on what you let your children watch and your own parental ratings.
