Arguably the first US action flick

A film of those at the top of their game: Bruce Lee, Jim Kelly and John Saxon. A story that now feels predictable but only because it is the story that has been copied and re-copied over and over again by every one else. Hearing Lee speak in his own un-dubbed voice and performing at the height of his martial arts prowess is a delight. He is like water and encourages the audiences to be malleable with him. We accept and cheer for a Chinese hero and we also get to enjoy the beginnings of the Blaxploitation movement. Bruce Lee offers a film that continues to be relevant in its martial arts prowess even in the face of Wuxia and CGI, we all still want to be like Lee.
