An entertaining enough simplistic thriller

Escape room works on the basic level that for the most part it keeps you entertained. However the pg-13 rating in a way keeps the film from being truly great as it feel like a more tame version of saw. But it still does have worthy entertainment value and satisfaction even though some of the films attempts at being clever come off amazingly sloppy. Overall if you're looking for a teen friendly thriller and don't weak chatacters and a few illogical plot points i would reccomend it

My thoughts about escape room( might involved some plots of this movie)

Frist, I am surprsied by this movie since I am a person who love solve puzzles. It shows a story that some players survived in this game finally. I am a little bit confused after I have seen this movie, I am curisous about the relationship between the girl and her professor, is the professor a director who provided help on her study? I am also confused about the relationship between the gift from her professor-cube and this game. I think maybe I need to read the scripts of this movie to figure the logic of this fascinating story out, maybe later I will watch it again to capture some details I missed in my first time watching so that I could get my logic back of this one. I am also confused that what has happened after each of the players have the cubes transformed in their hand automatically? I really love the details set in this movie, but I don't think I could eaily put them all together. For example, notes which have appeared several times in the movie, I could hardly find the reason why the notes pop up at some time ot situation, I really want to figure it out or make a summary of the time or place the notes pop up. One thing also confused me is the association between 5 players' past histoy and some stuffs appear in every rooms. Will the stuff, like the red coat in the frozen room affect the businessman's mind when he tried to do something to keep himself alive? That might be one of the puzzles. To be honest, I am confused about what the director want to tell us about the student's professor. It seems like that the student always know the way to solve the puzzle, is that because she has taken some mechanics classes and used some data information? T

You already knew this wasn't gonna be good.

The trailer spoils the entire movie, and that's not only a cliche statement but the truth. There's no suspense because you know where people are gonna die, get trapped, etc.

The best action movie ever!!

Contrary to what some are saying, the escape room is more an action movie than anything else. Not scary!! If you are a person who is weary of this movie being scary, don't worry it isn't. 10/10 recommend to kids 10 and up. I love seeing that the lead character is a ginger like myself. Really represents the red head community. Go Escape room!! #redheadgang #lovethismovie #best #lovedit
