What's the Story?
FOR WORSE centers on Lauren (Amy Landecker), a newly divorced woman who wants to start over. After she starts taking an acting class and meets a younger man (Nico Hiraga), Lauren is invited to the wedding of her other acting class friend, Maria (Kiersey Clemons). At the wedding, Lauren meets Dave (Bradley Whitford), who's also divorced.
Is It Any Good?
If you're looking for a gut-busting, laugh-out-loud comedy, this isn't that. For Worse does have funny moments, but for the most part, it's a humorous look at a woman figuring out what her next chapter after divorce is supposed to be. The film does boast a diverse group of characters and has a positive message about embracing the messiness of figuring out life. So if you want a humorous take on what happens after a divorce, then For Worse might be just the thing.
