Great movie!
This movie was a great sequel to silence of the lambs!Of course the movie was not as good, but still had great acting and storyline. The movie says 18+ but I think that it is only because of the brain scene, which is pretty gruesome but looks pretty fake . I think that any mature 13+ year old will be able to handle it. There is not really any sexual stuff, just violence .

definitely a good watch.
includes violence and cannibalistic scenes/references, but thats what the whole movie is about. does have some sexual references but no sex scenes. definitely a thriller and had me thinking about it for a while but depending on what your exposed to or what you can handle gore wise depends on how you'll react i. suppose.

Amazing, Love it
This was my personal favorite out of the Hannibal Lecter Quadrilogy, It is extremely graphic at some seens, there is one where Hannibal cuts a detectives guts out and hangs him over a balcony and everything splkaters, It is not for kids

Silence of the Lambs sequel is much lesser in quality.
Hannibal is a interesting horror/thriller sequel to the Academy Award winning masterpiece, Silence of the Lambs, directed by Jonathan Demme. Though it will keep horror fans entertained, it's forgettable, and is nothing that fans of the genre haven't seen before. It's violent, though not to the level of most modern horror films. That being said, it's not for young teens or children. It's worth the time, but viewers would be much better of with Silence of the Lambs, or another classic horror film such as the Sixth Sense or Rosemary's Baby. All in all, this movie had potential, of which it failed to reach, and is masked by minor violence, which could be disturbing to some viewers.
