Intense movie carries important messages

I Am Not Your Negro is a phenomenal movie about the history of the black people in america. Even so, the movie has imagery that might be found disturbing by some children. It has pieces on Malcolm X, Martin Luther King Jr. and many others, and covers their assassinations in great detail. There are lynchings, beatings, often by police, and frequent use of ni--er. There is one scene where a movie is playing, and a native american woman has her shirt ripped off by cowboys, exposing her breasts. As for drinking/drugs/smoking, almost every time you see James Baldwin, he is smoking. Great movie, but violence etc. is questionable.
