What's the Story?
A respected lawyer (Sunny Deol) known for playing his "ace" card (aka the IKKA) in the final courtroom moments is suddenly blackmailed to defend a corrupt murder suspect that he previously took down. With lives at stake, he's forced to bend every law to free his client, or risk losing everything that he loves.
Is It Any Good?
With over-the-top theatrics and slo-mo camera pans, this Bollywood courtroom drama-mystery-thriller has all of the makings of a soap opera (albeit with an overly long 2 hour and 20-minute runtime). It relies heavily on overacting and exaggerated character closeups and less on an intricate story with nuanced twists. Still, the audience may appreciate the look at the Indian legal system, justice, and ethical values if they can get past the expected melodramatics of the genre.

Families can talk about how this Bollywood film presents justice, morality, and fairness in the legal system. Are these themes simple or complicated? Why is it important to display all of the evidence before deciding what is true?
