All it is is killing.

Just one violent death after another. The source material is so great and they did nothing with it. It's garbage.

Dark

I watched this with Clearplay knowing it would have fantasy violence and language, but even with filters this movie is very violent, and the magic is very, very dark. Disappointing.

Action packed, vivid film, with amazing music.

I loved this movie and went to see it twice. The cinematography is amazing and I loved the characters, actors, score, and direction of the film. There is a lot of action- notice I didn't say violence or gore. I would suggest talking with kids and teens about sorcery, sword fights, and the history of King Arthur before seeing. There is one f-bomb and lots of colorful language that leaves room for discussion as well. One of the reasons I rated this 12 and up, rather than older, is because there is no nudity, gore, or repeated bad words. Overall, I think it's okay for preteens to see but requires a discussion about the film before and after. It also depends on your child. Adults should definitely see it or at the least buy the soundtrack!

Medieval Tale A Theatrical Success

Legend of the Sword is WAY better than what the critics give it. The movie has a great plot line, strong characters, great casting, fantastic ending---nothing to complain about. Content Concerns: Movie is violent (dagger and sword use) but little blood is shown.Mentions of brothels, uses of the word 'ass', one use of the 'f' word. Sexual content is not to worry.

Arrrrggghhhh Again Again

LOVED IT, LOVED IT, LOVED IT!!! This movie is one of the BEST Movies I've seen in a long time. Guy Ritchie did an amazing job, everything was to a T for me. The Humor, the fighting scenes and the love of family (lack there of for the uncle). I think all the actors did a marvelous job and brought there own uniqueness to the screen which I loved. Everyone go and watch this! Its so worth it, I cant believe its only made that much in the first week I am truly shocked. Arrgghhh come on people go go gadgets.

All action, very little and plot

I expected a lot more from this movie. There is very little of the King Arthur legend explored in this film. It instead is a chaotic and hard to follow action film filled with lots of battles and carnage. Despite the good acting involved, I thought the directing was horrible, a scrambled egg of a movie. It is entertaining at times and has some humorous parts but overall a big disappointment and not much value to offer to kids who might see it. I didn't think King Arthur was portrayed as a good role model in this film.

Fabulous entertainment

This is a great film. Forget the historical context. Well worth seeing one of the best films I have seen for ages

Expect more fantasy than typical version of the Arthur legend.

Guy Ritchie's unique camera shots, comedy and his overall style made this movie more enjoyable for me. My husband thought the story should have been more complex. But, I don't think the legend of Arthur is very complex anyway. In my opinion the violence was not over the top. It's war. And I appreciated that they didn't show gore. For example, a few people had their throats cut, but you don't see it happen.
