Great family movie.
There's a lot of action but it's not graphic at all

prolonged movie just filled with destruction!
This destruction movie is so prolonged! I hated it! The "king kong" in it is, well, poorley made! This is just a badass movie!

Decently violent, but interesting, fun, heart-felt, and classic.
King Kong is possibly the greatest film ever made. It deserves a place up there with Wizard of Oz, Citizen Kane, and Casablanca. It's classic. The film has a beautiful black and white glow, and by now, we all now the story. In this amazing film, you'll find ground-breaking special effects, dopey, memorable characters, a fantastic time (with some colorless blood, but kids today will think it's cheesy), and Carl Denham learning the error of his ways, realizing..."It was beauty that killed the beast."

Kind of dated, but its visual effects are entertaining to watch
Since this movie is from the 1930's, the visual effects are most likely not going to appeal to a lot of kids. But, if they are interested in stop-motion effects over CGI, and if they're mature enough, this movie might be for them. Its pacing is very good, and the dialogue was fun to listen to (though it is, like I said, kind of dated), making the whole experience very entertaining. Expect some intense violence: some people are stomped on by Kong, and fall from a cliff; there are gunshots with some bloody wounds; there's a long but thrilling fight between Kong and a T-Rex that ends quite intensely. Not much concern for language or sexual content (other than Ann getting some of her clothes off by Kong, but it's not too revealing). Overall, a pleasant surprise! 7.3/10

Highly overrated.
A stupid and overly acclaimed film that may have been scary/effective around 80 years ago, but is little more than crappy trash these days. I couldn't give it a zero stars rating. Unfortunately that doesn't work.
