Fine, but not for kids. Some kids could possibly watch it
Great film. It's a nice romance and one of my favourites. But slightly not appropriate for children because of the two sleeping together, nude silhouette and the very passionate kissing scene between the two main characters

WARNING! Leap year was a good and fun moive up until the point where the man picked up a chicken and killed the chicken with his bare hands absolutely traumatizing my kids! even my oldest crying!

Cute Romantic Comedy
Akin to the romantic comedies of the 1990's this is a cute movie. No sex, violence or language. An 11yo may not be interested in the content but it's a clean movie.

Обавезно погледати.

Refreshing, encouraging
I watched this with my husband and he really liked it too--so much that he wants to buy copies of it for all his family for Christmas. It is funny to me that so many reviewers call the story "hacked" and "already done" because, in fact, stories of this quality I find are appallingly rare. In a time which "heroes" are often distastefully "flawed" and "romance" often equates to gratuitous sex, I wonder that more folks didn't fall in love with this little film as we did. Here I should say that husband and I are definitely pro-sex--three kids folks!--but find today's cultural portrayal of sex as "harmless fun" to be neither honest nor helpful, especially not for girls who will carry the brunt of the risks and potential fallout. That being said, SPOILER ALERT!! I love the ending of this movie for the way it turns the question of a relationship into something which is definitively affirmed rather than the douchey sort of "well maybe if we have sex for awhile, something may come of it" mumbo-jumbo so popular in today's "modern" version of romance. There are some sillier lines and I feel like it could have gone further in it's themes, but I really do love this movie for what it dares to say about love.

A Slower pace of life really isn't so bad..... enjoy the scenery!
Its so nice to see the beautiful landscape of Ireland, and to enjoy the banter of Irish humor. It is certainly time to learn to enjoy lighthearted entertainment sometimes and not try to critique everything in the known Universe! It's a lighthearted movie - enjoy the scenery with a bowl of popcorn and relax, knowing nothing is going to explode, blow up or get nuked!. This world has to re- learn to RELAX! : ) (shut up... have a beer - your in Ireland now!)

Loved it great romantic comedy. Helps to remind us of what is important. Makes us take a look at ourselves and how we can work too hard to not be our parents. What we are convinced we want isn't always what we need. Other then the girl being walked in on while in her undies, a shower curtain silohouette the sexuality is very mild.

We loved this movie- I watched it with my daughters and their friends (12- 14 year old) All the girls enjoyed- A couple girls had seen it before and Loved it and were excited to see it again. THank you Molly Mormon Mom, you helped us to choose! THere was a kissing scene that I though was a little much for PG- especially for my year old.

Fun, Clean Movie - LOVED IT!!
This is a great movie! It's not Oscar-worthy in any way, but it's a clean, fun movie. The scenery is gorgeous, and the Irish natives are hilarious. Amy Adams does terrific slapstick throughout the movie. It's nice to see a movie that I can just sit back and enjoy.
