sickening

there shouldn't be any worry about kids watching this movie. in fact, there shouldn't be any worry about watching this movie at all! waste of time, in my opinion, and if you look at other reviews on the internet, quite a lot of people agree with me anyway. it's boring, filled to the brim with cliches, i found myself not even liking the main character, and that says a lot because she's played by AMY ADAMS! never thought that i'd be able to hate a character played by amy adams, and yet here we are. i got so bored while watching it, in fact, that i kept going to the bathroom to pee, even though i didn't really need to. just don't watch it, please, no matter what age you are.

New Favorite Move

I loved this movie. It is admittedly a bit cliche and predictable, but I laughed through the whole movie and it's a new favorite. There isn't much that's inappropriate, but there is a bit of alcohol and pda as well as a fistfight.

Love this little romance

This story was portrayed in a very good way in my opinion. The two main characters start by not liking each other and have no intestinal in each other at all. However, as the trip goes on the characters (reluctantly) realize mabye what they thought they wanted they no longer want. The romance is pretty clean, a few kisses, a woman's sillhouette behind a curtain and a couple in bed together, but no action. The main character is stong and independent, and really stong willed, and the other is the "go with the flow" type. Saying that though, even the easy going. character (him) sticks up for the lady in multiple occasions, in a bar fight, and he sits with her until she falls asleep on a bus bench, instead of leaving her since that was the agreed drop-off point, then falls asleep himself. The two travelers pretend to be a married couple at one point, and that is hilarious. The killing of a chicken by breaking its neck is shown. Overall, this is a fabulous movie that I fell in love with.

Leap Year Movie Review

This film is, in my opinion, appropriately rated PG. I personally really liked this movie. The only reason I would say ages 8+ is because the movie does have very few profane words, but there are still some (none too bad however). This movie is about a girl who follows her boyfriend to Ireland. And in trying to get to him in Dublin to propose on February 29, she finds love with an Irish man. If parents are watching with the child, I would say ages maybe 7+, but watching alone, 8+. One more thing is that there are a couple sensual scenes, but nothing very inappropriate. In the beginning of the movie, the man walks in on the woman while she is changing (in bra and underwear). And the only other scene is when the man tells the woman "the shower curtains are seethrough".

It's boring...

Overall the movie isn't terrible, it's just not good. It's very boring in some parts. And I think that the whole premise of a woman only being able to propose to a man on a certain day (according to some tradition or something) is a little obnoxious and getting on the VERY light side of sexism. It's just kind of an annoying movie, and the characters have very little chemistry. I would choose to watch something else.

Soo disappointing

One of the worst movies I have ever seen. I would never want to watch it again. my mom was going to watch it and I told her that It would just be a waste of 2 hours.

Clean romantic comedy

Pretty clean comedy-does not have too many funny lines, but when it does they are genuinely funny. There is great chemistry between the main characters and there is not too much to be concerned about besides some sensual stuff.
