Light of the World
What's the Story?
In LIGHT OF THE WORLD, Jesus' story comes to life through the eyes of his youngest apostle, John (voiced by Benjamin Jacobson). From Jesus' ministry to his crucifixion, death, and resurrection, John is there to see it all, with childlike faith, curiosity, and courage.
Is It Any Good?
With a touch of curiosity and wonder, this animated story offers a fresh take on Jesus' life through the eyes of a child. Though Light of the World isn't entirely biblically accurate, looking at the narrative of the Christian gospel from a child's perspective helps makes the events and teachings more digestible and relatable for kid viewers. And there's just enough humor and adventure to make it a watchable family film, too.
