When I first heard of this movie I thought it was stupid. This was about 2 months before the release. But earlier this week I felt like watching it, but one thing about me is that I am not a fan of horror movies. I try my best to stay away from them, but I thought this one would be different because it was rated PG-13 and I am 13. So I waited until it came out and as soon as the common sense media review released I took a look at it. I read about it and I was scared. The thing that scared me the most was the violence. But I decided to just go and watch the movie with my friend and my family. I’m going to say that common sense made it seem worse than what it actually was. There was only a few jump scares and the violence barely showed tons and tons of blood. The things that they said on here happened but not as bad as I expected. The swearing was bad though. A lot of sh-t, one use of b!tch along with F-ck being used once too. I understand that some kids are more sensitive to other things and that’s why common sense made the little things seem big. I said 12+ but really it doesn’t matter. If you think you or your kid are mature enough to handle swearing or violence then I say go for it. And it wasn’t a bad movie ether! I found it to be more funny than actually scary. It was the second horror movie I’ve ever seen and I liked it a lot. One more thing, the PG 13 rating is appropriate in my opinion. Just depends on what kind of kid is watching.

This movie was amazing I loved it. It may be a little scary for little kids but I don't think it's that bad. Yes there is a little blood gore and cussing but overall it's an amazing movie

I liked this movie because if you are a fan of scary movies, this is plenty scary. Sure it has blood and violence, but if you are going to see this, you probably will be fine with all the things included in this. I will say it is a thriller and will be scary. So, watch if you like scary stuff, and if you don't like scary things then don't.

M3GAN was a spectacular movie. When watching the trailers and reading about it on sites such as common sense it is difficult to tell whether the movie leans comedy or horror/thrill and the answer is honestly both. For example, *TINY SPOILER* "M3GAN" the robot pushes a kid into the road causing him to get run over. However, the next scene when the niece asks if "M3GAN" killed the boy she responds by singing "titanium" and it is about the funniest and most random thing I've ever seen in my life. She then dances with the Niece and makes funny jokes. Then, in the next scene, proceeds to kill someone else. Honestly, sex, nudity, smoking, drinking is out of the question and doesn't even appear in the movie that I can remember. Swearing is there but only one use of "F-ck" and "M3GAN" has her moment of saying "B*itch" but if your kids can't handle that then your kids are way to young to be watching something like this. I would say overall it depends on the maturity of your child. NO, it is not as scary as "Smile" or recent movie "the barbarian" and it's not as scary as"IT" in my opinion. It's very light jumps-scares and the gore/blood is VERY minimal. Finally, wanted to throw in I took my best friend who HATES horror movies and he said it was the funniest thing he has ever seen. Overall very engaging! I’m very squeamish when it comes to horror movies, and went to see the movie with my 16 year old, horror movie loving sister. There were a few parts that I tensed up at, but nothing beyond that. Overall, not bad, and a great beginner horror movie!

This was an amazing first horror movie. This movie was creepy, but not exactly scary. There are obviously deaths, but they aren't grusome. There is one f-bomb but other than that its pretty much what you would expect. It was dark, but was also pretty funny at times! Instead of just jumping into "Robot goes crazy and starts commiting mass murder!" they actually took time to get the story going, which I really liked! This movie is amazing and would totally recommend for younger horror fans!

They really just made M3GAN look like Billie Eilish in Alita: Battle Angel style!🤣

I rate it a PG13 because I'm 13 myself and the reason i think this because its only a little bit of swearing and bit of blood and jump scares I wouldnt recommend it for users under 13 though

This is the best movie that I've watched so far. This movie is intended to be less scary compared to others, but it is a blast! Even though there is a bit of blood and weird scenes, M3GAN portrays a whole different dimension to compare it to the future.
