What Parents Need to Know
Parents need to know that Meet Me in Paris is a scripted reality movie about three women looking for romance and true love. There's a lot of kissing, flirting, and clingy, revealing clothes. Sex is implied once by showing a couple having breakfast in bed together. They kiss and cuddle on the bed; the man is topless and the woman is wearing pajamas. The adults frequently drink alcohol, usually champagne or wine, and glorify how it enhances the fun; no consequences are shown. The only mild swear words are "hell" and "damn." There's some sadness when two characters talk about how they each lost a parent to cancer.

What's the Story?
MEET ME IN PARIS is the story of three women from the U.S. who are flown to Paris to stay in a luxurious apartment for 10 days while they try to find true love, or at least enjoy a little romantic, once-in-a-lifetime experience. Through a series of planned activities and excursions, each of the three goes on several dates hoping that sparks will fly and something real will ignite before they have to return home.
Is It Any Good?
For a movie billed as a "reality romcom," this movie is light on the reality and comedy and very heavy on the romance. That being said, Meet Me in Paris is brimming with positivity and refreshingly free of any competition. Among the producers are Reese Witherspoon and Zoe Saldana, so it's not surprising to find characters who support and encourage each other while modeling strong bonds of friendship. Romance fans will enjoy the fabulous locations and swoon-worthy encounters, but there's not much appeal for viewers who aren't fans of the genre.
