Milk

This was the first R-rated film I saw. It is an absolutely brilliant film examining one of my personal idols. Know that it does portray gay characters in a positive light if that sways you one way or another, and also that my mother had covered my 12-year-old face for several scenes in the movie but you'll know when they come. But the most important rule here is to know your kids and what they are comfortable with.

Sean Penn's dynamite performance as Harvey Milk is deserving of the Oscar.

this true story is based on a man (harvey milk ) who is gay. The story revolves around the gay community fighting for civil rights in america. the story does have violence including a lot of suicide references and a man who has hung himself the language content is pretty bad they use F... frequently and abusive comments to gay people. this film includes a lot of male kissing . i recommend this film should be viewed by mature teenagers.

I'm not here to give a review because if it shows up on my page its a 5 star movie and so therefore you know what i think about it.

Gives a positive message as the main charater fights for his rights.

This would be good for all 12+ people with all the hatred now of day.

Explicit sexual content (whether hetro or homosexual) is never acceptable.
