Listen to this before you tell your 10-12 kids no

I’ve seen this movie with my dad and I loved it. The movie was very good and entertaining but it had loads of cuss words like the F-Word and more and very gory scenes but I think a 10 year old can handle it well if they are not sensitive to gore and violence.

Good for 12 and up depending if they are responsible

The first 10m in very gory but after that 10 minutes it’s not that gory your kid might think mileena is scary but she only looks like the joker (if your a mortal kombat fan then you know who I am talking about) they have swear words but if your kid is responsible they could handle it other then the first scene and around the middle it’s ok for about a 12 year old kid (by the way Kano is the absolute funniest character every)

Pretty good

The plot in the movie was ok. A lot of violence but overall not a bad movie and related a lot to the video game series.

Mortal Kombat review

Mortal Kombat is a 2021 action and martial-arts movie. The story is about three realms: Earthrealm, Outworld and Netherrealm. There are tournaments against realms to decide if one realm can take over the other. If one realm wins 10 tournaments in a row against another, that realm can take over the losing realm. Earthrealm and Outworld are currently battling each other and Outworld has won 9 out of 10 tournaments against Earthrealm. It's up to Earthrealm's fighters to save Earthrealm from Outworld's wrath. ---------------------------------------- Violence - If anyone has ever played Mortal Kombat before, they'll definitely know that it has extreme and excessive counts of blood and gore. The movie is no different, upping the movie series from a PG-13 rating to an R rating. Heads are smashed, eyes are stabbed and there's the one scene where an opponent gets sliced in half. There's decapitation and dismemberment, along with blood being very frequently shown in every fight. The violence itself is not very realistic and isn't really intense, it's just a whole load of bloody violence. Violence rating = R ---------------------------------------- Language - Be prepared for a whole lot of F-bombs. One Australian character says the F word very frequently, in just about every scene he's in. Some characters say profanities like "s--t", "ass", "damn", "p---y", "prick" and more. Language rating = R ---------------------------------------- Sexual content - The movie doesn't have any sexual content present, though some may agree that the language contains some infrequent crude sexual humor. Basically not present. ---------------------------------------- Substance use - There is some alcohol use, but it isn't glamorized in any way. Substance rating = G ---------------------------------------- Overall, I'd recommend Mortal Kombat for teens 13+ since the violence is unrealistic but gory and there are frequent uses of profanity.
