The characters are amazing, I really love the story line and the message that it gives. I would suggest if you are a teenager to not watch it with your parents, because you and them might become very uncomfortable because there is quite a lot of sex scenes. Overall this movie is one of my favorites and I will watch it again.

The two stars and the review do no justice to this movie... Of course there is homophobia. 1950.. It was against the law. Lots of smoking? Yes also 1950 and 1990... These are not choices of the director, but facts of history. The feeling in the movie is overwhelming, beautiful and heartbreaking.. It is modern history and needs to be seen....

No thank you, I have seen enough... masturbating is shown with tow charters and some oral sex scenes, good job on the R rating, would not advise the watching of this to anybody under 13 unless you like sexual content... be careful, sorry fellow teens but I'm not sure if this is even 12-13 suitable...

I just finished watching the movie and WOW I just have to say first that I am really proud of Harry Styles. Despite what people say, i think he did an incredible job with the role. Firstly, he used the fact that he is a queer icon to portray a memorable message. Harry Styles gave so much to this role and shared so much of himself to play this queer representing character experiencing the struggles of what it was like to be queer in the 50s, which honestly, most people (including myself before i watched the movie) have no idea about. Not only that, but the movie told an amazing story. This was definitely one of the best movies I have ever seen. The ending made me cry. It was incredible. I would definitely recommend.

An amazing movie. Great morals and ethics.

This is an amazing film which was written, acted and directed beautifully. The one thing I would say though is DO NOT WATCH WITH PARENTS! It contains sex scenes where partial nudity is shown. It is not central to the plot so you can skip however I would recommend watching it alone to avoid feeling uncomfortable. There is homophobia however the film is set in the 50s so is expected. I highly recommend this film to people 15 or above as it is beautiful. If you love forbidden love and a great story then this is for you!
