This stunning animated action adventure is an inspiring, heart-wrenching tale about how we all have the power to change our circumstances and make a better world. Ne Zha 2 has a cast of complicated characters with compelling individual storylines. While Ne Zha and Ao Bing take center stage, their families and friends have plenty to teach us as well. The story has so many layers that there's something for everyone to enjoy. Refreshingly, this sequel isn't just a franchise cash-grab. It's a thoughtful, well-crafted installment in an ongoing epic that deserves its global success.

  • Families can talk about fantasy as a genre. How do the fantasy parts of the story help us understand real-world problems and situations? Why would the creators choose to make a fantasy story instead of a historical fiction?

  • Why are diverse representations important in books, movies, games, etc.? What do we gain from seeing ourselves reflected in media, or by seeing people who are different from us?
