Fantastic, funny, and heartfelt

So this is a great movie. Robin Williams does a fantastic job acting, as do the supporting cast. Its the great true story about a guy who discovered how to make the patients comfortable and happy, despite his own problems that he has to deal with. Its a funny, sad, and great movie, thats definitely worth watching.

A very touching movie that is extremely underrated

The fact that critics panned this movie shocks me, this was a very good movie that was very touching. The movie may not be appropriate for kids. Two times a bear buttocks is shown (not sexually though). A woman talks about being molested (there are no graphic details). And a main character is murdered off screen. The main problem with this movie was all of the language. The word "pr*ck" is said 8 times, "ass" is said 4 times, "shit" is said 5 times, "pen*s" is said once and so is "anus", "hell" said twice, "damn" said a few times, and "d*ckhead" is said once. This movie is a must watch for families with teenagers and will touch everyone.

A heartfelt, jolly and inspiring dramedy

This is my favorite Robin Williams movie and my second favorite Tom Shadyac film (after The Nutty Professor). It is dramatic, mature and often heartbreaking, but it has just the right amount of spirited, upbeat humor to lighten the mood. It does a great job of recreating Hunter Adams's life with only a few changes, like making his best friend a woman instead of a man. The movie may seem overwrought at times, but I think it is just right, evenly balancing the comedy, drama and romance to make for an excellent Robin Williams movie.

Not worth seeing his butt.

Robin Williams creates two giant, spread-out legs on each side of the entrance to a building, as if the door was the entrance into a vagina. Also at the very end of the film, his bare bottom is shown.

Good Movie

This movie shows one great role model! Patch doesn't care about behaving like doctor should he instead worries about making the patient feel comfortable and happier. This shows how the world could be a better place if everyone cared about customers or patients as individuals and tried to make their lives better. It was a bit violent and there was a lot of language. There is a naked male rear shown at the end
