Too many modern twists

This movie was written wonderfully, and some of the settings were incredibly beautiful. I would say that anyone who watches this movie has to be prepared for the modern twists that they added. Also, while you're watching, I would advise you to view it as the world should've been, in the racial aspect. The diversity is unrealistic for the time period, but the actors did an amazing job and I don't think it really affected the course of the plot. The main character, Anne Elliot, was witty and caring, which made her one of my favorite Jane Austen heroines.

I'm in love with the story....

This is one of the best adaptions I've ever watched... If you liked the adaptation of Pride and Prejudice, I'm sure you'll like this one too. It's a mix of romance and comedy... Although there's no content which children below 13 can't watch, I doubt they are going to understand it... but I guess it depends from kid to kid. Overall.. a must watch for literature geeks!
