Sweet movie about what it means to be a parent with a nice Pokémon twist

The 23rd animated Pokémon movie is one of the best movies in the series so far. It’s plot is similar to that of Jungle Book and Tarzan. In fact the movie is like a love letter to Disney’s Tarzan movie with a nice musical soundtrack and the emphasis of being a good parent and what it truly means to be a “good father”. The movie also has a good environmental message and puts a heavy emphasis on saving the forest and protecting the environment and living things. The movie does have a level of violence and it’s shown that “Koko’s” real parents were murdered by a very bad person in a scene that is more heartbreaking than the one in the Detective Pikachu film. Dada Zarude thankfully steps up and decides to raise Koko despite being rejected by his fellow Zarude and does his best to single parent Koko after failing to find the real parents. Without spoiling much more of the movie I would actually recommend this movie for parents to watch with their kids. It is a sweet, touching movie about family bonds and it’s just a nice family movie with positive messages. There is some violence but the good out weights the bad.
