Heavy drug reference

Bruh. All of the mushrooms it shows(and it shows A LOT) are psychedelic mushrooms(magic mushrooms). I mean it's in most of the movie. Even the main antagonist has one as her necklace. The main one is that red mushrooms with white dots.

Petey pipe and syringe blatantly shown in movie-drug paraphernalia shown

The scene where the lady is making “potions” clearly shows as a meth pipe with rocks in it and a syringe that looks like blood is mixed (just like with what is done when actually using syringes). The woman giving these things is depicted as a “good person “. It’s sick that a movie would try to hide the worst of drugs in a children’s film. Not to mention they don’t display the kindest behavior, but the drug paraphernalia being shown is absurd. I would add a picture if the comment allowed. Please do not let your children watch this.

Honest Review and It's truthful

It's good movie overall. I loved when the children flew with the dragon that so cool. I really liked it though. However, it is a bit inappropriate. The story is good to watch. Minutes after the main characters turn into kids, We see Ilvira who is in a strange proportion and It's a bit disturbing how she looks and loves kissing!

Sweet movie

The movie is great! The visual is very charming which keeps the kids entertain. The script writing is nice with little jokes here and there. Love the twist in the end, it teaches kids about team work and sacrificing for your love ones.

Longest 1 hour and 47 minutes this year

It’s a very colorful and active film. Visually it’ll keep them engaged. But MAN was the writing and story line horrible. Both adults fell asleep…kids were nonplussed. Nothing objectionable for families other than the writing and storyline.

Not worth watching and story really bad

This movie was written badly. My Daughter hated it. My son thought is was okay. the story is about hansel and gretel. The king was kidnapped and hansel and gretel have to find him. They then turn into kids. hansel and gretel act mean to each other and people make mean comments about there relationship. I do like that it is playing around with these fairy tale characters. Children over 7 would probably not like it. It was disappointing. If you want a nice fantasy movie for movie night this is not the one you should pick.

Not bad, but not good either

I can't point to anything objectionable (aside from some sibling name-calling and a buxom villain), it's just a painful convoluted story that has VERY little to redeem itself. That said, during the pandemic we've finished all the priority movies and run out of ideas. This was free on a streaming service and the kids laughed. But if you have ANY other ideas for movie night, save yourselves.
