Worthy superhero sequel has violence, some sexual references

What doesn't Shazam! Fury of the Gods have packed? A glamorously exciting film with some clichés and a lot of action. It has an interesting plotline, with some great acting and lovable characters. The film does not lose its heart to its predecessor, as we see Billy still use all of his power to protect his loved ones. The quality does not drop! Overall, 12+. Adults and older kids will notice several sexual references, which would be easily missed by young children. The scariness is on another level, with frightening monsters and lots of destruction combined with a very high body count. Language is pretty mild, as I noticed a few S-words and one cut off F-bomb combined with “mother”. Definitely get your kids to watch this film, as its lightheartedness and comedy makes this a must-watch for anyone who loved Shazam!

Great family movie

I would say for this movie that I really liked the humor in it. I really think that it was a great movie to see with my mom.

:)

If your child has seen the other D C/Marvel movies then this should be great. Although there is plenty swearing, there is also a great message about family and team work! The languages does include some sexual references but younger audiences won’t notice. The images could be scarier to younger kids but not to scary for older ones. I totally recommend (but watch the first one first)!
