What's the Story?
SIKANDAR follows its titular hero (Salman Khan) as he fearlessly fights against the politically corrupt, including Minister Rakesh Pradhan (Sathyaraj). But when a personal tragedy strikes, can Sikandar continue his noble cause in helping the politically oppressed?
Is It Any Good?
This Indian action drama, directed by A.R. Murugadoss, is boring and preachy right from the start. Sikandar is painfully predictable, with bland action and a dull romance that make it hard to sit through. In celebrating Khan and his stardom, the film seems to forget to include a compelling plot or justify its two-and-a-half-hour run time. A sheer disappointment given Khan's star power, the movie does little more than glorify its male lead while reducing its female characters to mere love interests and damsels in distress.
