What's the Story?

SPY X FAMILY CODE: WHITE follows Loid (voiced by Alex Organ), a spy, and Yor (Natalie Van Sistine), an assassin. They both maintain their secret identities while posing as an ideal family. Unbeknownst to them, their adopted daughter Anya (Megan Shipman), who possesses telepathic abilities, is aware of their clandestine lives. During a supposed family weekend winter getaway, Loid tries to advance his ongoing mission, Operation Strix. However, complications arise when Anya inadvertently becomes entangled in the operation, setting off a chain of events that could jeopardize global peace.

Is It Any Good?

Our review:
Parents say ( 2 ):
Kids say ( 6 ):

This film delivers a solid action-comedy experience with adventure elements, yet it lacks emotional depth and fails to introduce new concepts. Spy x Family Code: White is well-executed, blending action, adventure, and humor while exploring the dual lives of an unconventional family. The high-quality animation and engaging character development make it appealing to both genre enthusiasts and new viewers. However, the film's duration feels overly extended, and despite appealing visuals and amusing moments, it doesn't offer much in the way of innovation. That said, it's a bit of breezy fun for anime fans who want to see more of this unique family.

  • Superpowers are another element in this film. Anya has the ability to read minds. Do you think such a power would be a blessing or a curse in real life? How would you use such a power?
