"What should I tell your men when they find out you're gone?" "I'll be back."

Terminator Salvation is a 2009 sci-fi action sequel film directed by McG and starring Christian Bale, Sam Worthington, Anton Velchin, Moon Bloodgood and Helena Bonham Carter. Language(3/5): The film has 6 uses of “G**” and “hell”, 4 uses of “s**t”, 3 uses of “son of a b**ch”, 2 uses of “damn” and 1 use of “f**k”, “g****mn”, “a**”, “bastards” and “pissing”. The film has 26 total curses. Sex, Romance and Nudity(3/5): When the T-800 time travels, it’s shown naked but nothing is visible except for a glimpse of his buttocks. Brief kissing. A man and a woman snuggle up to get warm. Drinking, Drugs and Smoking(2/5): Characters smoke cigarettes and drink beer while under stress. Violence(4/5): Intense sci-fi violence throughout, with tons of carnage and battles, gun violence, explosions, vehicle crashes, injuries and stabbings. A helicopter crashes and explodes. A man is seen with a nose bleed. Dead bodies are shown. A robot with human skin is harmed by an explosion, and we see him with his robotic skull and eyes. Medical experiments are shown with some blood. Positive Messages(2/5): Questions about morality are raised, and the film focuses on redemption in an impossible situation. Positive Role Models and Representations(1/5): The heroes in the film are flawed but try their hardest to save the world. Watching Experience: Nothing of note with my experience regarding mature content. Quality(opinionated): (My rating) Rated PG-13 For intense sequences of sci-fi action violence, some language including a brief strong use and brief nudity.

Not great, but not bad

This movie isn't really that great, but not that bad either. This movie includes a ton of violence, that's luckily not gory. There are a few blood scenes, but they are all very brief. Other gore include a scene where one guy's flesh was broken and you could see his entire inside. Profanity only include words like s--t, a-s, f--k and b--ch, but it's not too much. Only 3 kisses occur in this movie, but it leads to nothing explicit. The storyline do get confusing at some stages. I'm not very impressed by this movie to be honest😐😐😐

Great prequel delivers the thrills.

Unlike the other Terminator films this movie has no time travel and is set in post-judgement day/nuclear apocolypse 2018. There is normal sci-fi violence and some swearing. Overall pretty good.

Sci-fi war movie is different than other Terminator films

Terminator: Salvation is a prequel to 1984’s “The Terminator”. It is the first movie in the series to receive a PG-13 rating. As of right now, this film is available for free on YouTube and other streaming services. Unlike the past films, Salvation doesn’t include a terminator going back in time. Instead, the entire film takes place in the future. I really loved this aesthetic of the movie because it finally gave us a better look at how the terminators are created. Lots of interesting plot details, with great action sequences. Age Review: The movie isn’t too violent but it is dark. Nothing in the movie is funny, it’s supposed to show you Earth’s dark fate. Some minor language with no sex. You don’t necessarily have to watch the other terminator movies before this one, but I’d strongly recommend them. Overall recommend for ages 12+

Chaotic but entertaining Terminator sequel.

Terminator: Salvation is a 2009 sci-fi action sequel directed by McG and starring Christian Bale, Sam Worthington, Helena Botham Carter, and Michael Ironside. Language(3/5): "Son of a b**ch", "a**", "s**t", "hell", "damn", and "bastard" are used moderately frequent, and other brief uses of "pissing", "a**hole", "g****mn", and a muffled "f**k" in an action scene. Sex(1/5): One male character's backside is shown, but is buttocks are not shown. Character's kiss and embrace. Drinking, Drugs, And Smoking: None. Violence(4/5): Lots of intense destruction, explosions, stabbing and over-the-top violence throughout with hand-to-hand combat and gun violence resulting in mutilation of all of the robots. Some blood is seen in experimental injuries. Robots and people are burned in molten metal. Positive Messages(2/5): Messages about courage, perseverance, and more. Positive Role Models And Representations: Courageous but violent individuals don't really input positivity into their murder of the machines. Quality(opinionated): The action was great! But what was the story again? (My rating) PG-13 For intense sequences of sci-fi violent action and some language.

More appropriate for kids than the first three, but less good.

This sequel is too loud and explosive to fully understand. I couldn't make out half the dialogue. Violence 8/10: Not as much injuries shown as the first three, but constant explosive war action shown. Weapons like guns and bombs are used. Sex 1/10: Very very mild. Language 4/10: Less than the first three movies, I heard one use of "f--k" and a few uses of "s--t", but that's really only because I could barely hear any of what's said.
