The only major misstep in Terry McMillan Presents: Forever is its unwieldy title. Diggs and Good portray two smart, kind, capable, reasonable people who are both wildly attracted to each other and grounded in the reality of what it takes to make a marriage work. Their courtship conversations are frank and direct as they reveal their vulnerabilities and risk the pain of rejection, all to create a solid foundation for the relationship they are willing to enter. Bart Baker's dialogue is unusually mature and realistic and well delivered by the lead actors in a production well-directed by Charles Murray.
