Slice of life

Classic Texas Chainsaw Massacre in an 2006 update with more boobs, slicing and gore.

Disgusting!

DONT let your children watch this gruesome show! It shows Leatherface pulling off a face on screen and wearing it! Ugh! It also costs plenty of money. $8.99 for poop like that? Waste of time. Waste of money.

Eh.

Watched this with the bros on halloween--not awful, but we stopped paying attention halfway through. The acting wasn't as bad as predicted (still not great) and the rest--excluding noticeably bad character development--was mediocre. Lots of blood and gore; characters are taken captive and tortured; beaten, skinned alive. A cow is hit by a car. A man gets his foot caught in a bear trap. Swearing.

Gory, and scary 15+ is okay my suggested rating R for strong bloody violence gore, and brief sexuality, other than that theres really nothing to be conserend about.

Disappointing Prequel to the boring and bloody Remake

Blood, balls, boobs, birth, bad, and boring. I watched this movie and it was horrible. It explains some interesting things, which is why it isn't a 1/5. But the worst parts of this movie explained the simplest things. It shows Leatherface putting on his face for the first time. That was the only entertaining part. It was a boring, and a bloody Prequel to the also lackluster remake (the remake wasn't awful, I gave it a 3/5) If you want to watch a horror movie, watch the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre! That movie is an instant 5/5 in my book!

Good scarefest for hardcore horror fans.

This is actually a good movie for hardcore horror fans, which means this movie graphically displays horribly gruesome deaths in about every disturbing way possible. A man gets his face sliced off and made into a mask for the main antagonist - a mentally retarded, deformed man whom hunts and kills travelers with a chainsaw to feed his very poor yet cannibalistic family. The on-screen deaths are very hard to watch, which rarely ever cuts away from the screen : a woman gets her throat slit with scissors; a man gets gored through the chest with a chainsaw; an old man gets his legs graphically sawed off because his legs were in pain and couldn't afford any hospital treatment. Language is strong and frequent, mostly when the characters are in peril and terror (uses of f**k, sh*t) and the theme that a retarded deformed man murders people with a chainsaw to feed their mutilated body parts to his cannibalistic poor family can be VERY disturbing and sickening to understand. Definitely not for children.
