Dysfunctional Wedding Rom Com

The Big Wedding is a film about a family with divorced parents, with the husband already with another woman. Their adopted son is getting married, and his biological mother is Catholic, so they decide to pretend to be married for the wedding. Know what you're in for. This is a dysfunctional wedding rom com, and is very raunchy. If you don't like this, you won't like the movie. It will not win anyone over. If you are a fan of wedding comedies, you may or may not like it. Some jokes hit, some don't. The acting and chemistry between the actors is great. However the film is a bit disjointed. Plot points, instead of being developed, are brought up when needed, and sometimes brought up once and never again. Same with the characters, as they are also poorly developed. Regardless, I love wedding rom come, and I enjoyed this, along side the issues and failed humor. Not everyone will though. This film is a heavy R and it takes no time to get into it, so if you're sensitive, run away.

Moviegoer14: The Big Wedding

Cliches with big actors. Short on laughs. Although in a way or another, tender sweet.

Funny, but too much for kids to handle.

The Big Wedding is funny, but kids shouldn't know sexual stuff yet. If your kids want to see this, remind them about the open variety of the sexual content in this film. 1.25/10 - NOT WORTH WATCHING!
