The Buddy Holly Story

I think Buddy Story is a good movie about buddy holly. Gary busey is the best actor ive ever seen to play him, and every song sung in the movie is sung by him. i think if you would want to show your kids buddy holly this would be a great movie. Keep in mind there is some bad words and it isnt very accurate to the story like a lot of documentarys, but i think its good.

At times, you forget that you are watching Gary Busey play Buddy Holly and start to think that you are really watching Buddy Holly! Besides the terrific acting, Busey is really singing and playing the guitar when on stage. The movie is made as real as a documentary. Like snap shots from his life, the Buddy Holly Story is just that, Buddy Holly's story.

There are some questionable parts, such as when Buddy and his girlfriend are making out in their car, but it's really not the worst, and will just make you chuckle. If you are looking for an accurate representation of Buddy Holly, it's not very good. Many details are extremely incorrect (this is coming from an enthusiast, of course haha) and Gary Busey didn't do a very good job of playing the roll. Overall, this is not the worst movie in the world, but it does get really boring quickly.

Love this movie, one of my all time favorites. The movie shows how someone from a small town can achieve their dreams only by trying. Gary Busey performs Buddy wonderfully. Not all of the story is true, but what they have done is wonderful! Although it does have a sad ending, as you may have guessed, it is a wonderful movie.
