The Craft: Legacy, but mashed up with The Last Airbender and teen soap tropes.

C'mon, it doesn't fully qualify as a horror movie. It's a 'teen' horror movie starring not much of an appealing cast and an intention to bring something new only to be mixed with 21st century's already seen genre tropes. The movie has little to 'Legacy' and more to teen drama. One-dimensional and kind witches, may I say, amateur. You see the twist coming before the last 30 minutes start. PG-13 rating to garner larger audience. Sexuality is mild. Menstrual blood shown (lots of), a kiss, two scenes of masturbation(although one is only implied with pornographic noises on laptop heard but no nudity in both). A sex ed class with a video of clothed love-making shown(only kissing) during which a boy jokingly moans and the other makes a comment about balls. Some nude photos of women in the start (so fast hardly see anything but nothing sensitive). Some sexual talk. The young witches use a bully's condom to cast a spell on him but the condom isn't shown and never really exists as they begin hex. Violence is, meh. The girl, the apparent correspondent to 1996 The Craft's Robin Tunney, uses telepathic powers involuntarily to smash a boy in the lockers once and pushing her mother the other time. No blood sacrifices. A character attempts to punch a girl, misses and succeeds the other time. The shapeshifting antagonist might be a little scary for younger kids as his eyes get black but, nah, not so effective. A character is surrounded by a fire circle and then a sphere which burns him, nothing really shown. A witch violently smashes another girl's head in the wall, telepathically. A girl has a frightening dream repeatedly throughout the film. A girl sees a shadow in her room. A boy is said to have been dead, but not shown. Drinking and drugs include a bong found in a boy's room and some drinking at a party. Swearing is brief but words like 'motherf***ing' used frequently. The Craft: Legacy actually wanted to do us a favor in its part by bringing something new but it really couldn't develop it. What's new? Some teen drama? Ok, what about the cult? Just some scenes in the first act and in the third? Kidding me? Ah, the telepathy scenes. Yeah, the witches just move their heads even when their eye positions are beyond the focused object. Although, the shapeshifting one was kinda good. Acting wasn't phenomenal either. It looked like the writer brought The Last Airbender and Riverdale to give us something NEW. Teamwork messages were a positive thing though, which the first one repelled, of course.

The Craft: Legacy

I think it's a really good movie. Isn't as spooky as the 1st but just right. With the gang adding another witch to their group, more chaos is caused by the theme.

Trash!

My mom has liked the original movie since she was my age (I’m 15). And I look for her to watch this. I hate horror movies. Don’t watch it. #horrormoviehaters #horrormovierants.
