Well done and violent

Very well acted and well cast. Sad and interesting. The plot sounds dumb but it is a very smart movie. My only issues are that the sexual content is pretty unnecessary and there are literally like 5 characters in the entire movie.

The fly a look at the grotesque effects of inproper lab safety

So as many people already know the fly is considered the greatest body horror of all time mixing a sense of dread and intrigue. David Cronenburg masterfully directs this creature feature with haunting visuals, practical effects that give most movies of the past decade a run for their money, and excellent acting especially to Jeff Goldblum who play Dr. Seth Brundle the lab experiment gone wrong. The Fly is a testiment to what can be done with visual effects and a director who is clearly pouring passion out onto both the screenplay and the directors chair. In conclusion I'd say 16+ maybe younger if parents truly believe they can handle it but it has the possibility to truly scar a child.
