It's an ok movie
The movie itself is an ok horror film. There's a lot of gore, violence and a scene of attempted rape. There's also some use a racist dialogue and a lot of cursing and swearing along with other derogatory terms. Watch at your own discretion and I wouldn't allow a kid under 17 to watch it personally.

Fun, interesting thriller film has strong violence, language
The Forever Purge is a 2021 film about an American Holliday where all crimes, including murder, are legal for 12 hours, except this time that rule is broken.
VIOLENCE:
During the night of the purge, innocent people are shown being beaten to death with pipes/bats, we see an innocent person tied to the back of a motorcycle as it’s driving dragging the man on the road, we see a line of people get shot and killed against a wall and splattering blood, we hear and see gunfire on the streets and more. Despite the violence being disturbing, it isn’t overly bloody and a large portion of it is quite brief and shown from a distance.
A news reporter is suddenly shot in the head spraying blood.
A woman has her neck and arms trapped in a cage as a bolt gun lowers towards her head before her captors are beaten and she is free. Most of the people are violently beaten down with a metal object, one of them is shot in the forehead with a bolt gun and the other is bashed in the face with a pipe forcing the cleaver he was holding into his face. Strong, bloody sequence.
Several people are in peril before one of the innocent hostages are shot in the head offscreen, but we see the aftermath with a bullet hole dribbling blood as he’s still alive. This sets off a shootout where multiple people are shot dead with large sprays and splatters on blood.
Countless dead bodies are shown throughout, some showing detail and blood around and on them, in one scene a dog is eating a bloody corpse.
A car is exploded with a rocket launcher. The driver is killed splattering blood on the windshield before the car crashes and killed one of the passengers. When one of the men escape he tries to restrain a woman before he is beaten.
Many people are shot and killed throughout spraying blood, however the shootings are never too gory. In one sequence no blood is visible due to a dark environment, in another an enemy is shot repeatedly in the mouth, several people are shot in the face, blood often splatters on environments, closeup of a throat being slit, people are shot with crossbows, violently beaten, eyes gouged out with bare hands.
A man has a machete forced into his head, it goes in deep and is violently pulled out.
LANGUAGE:
Around 54 uses of “f*ck” including “motherf*cker”, “f*cking pig” and more. The end credits also contain heavy swearing including the F-bomb as well which bumps up the F bombs a considerable amount. Use of “sh*t”, “b*tch”, “whore”, “brownie” and “beaner”.
OVERALL: 13+ for strong violence and for language.
