Mature Biopic tackles greed and selfishness.

The Founder is a 2016 film about how Ray croc, local salesman, stole McDonald’s away from these two brothers who had a local store. LANGUAGE: 3/5 One use of f**king: “Your f**king Local”, other language like "Bulls-t", “Son of a b-tch”, “A--hole”, “ass”, “goddamn”, “bastard”, “jack-ass”, "Hell", "Damn" and the middle finger gesture. VIOLENCE: 2/5 Much yelling, cursing and insulting in harsh mean ways, greedy and selfish characters. SEX: 1/5 Ray is attracted to woman that isn’t his wife and marries her and dumps his old wife, very brief sexual references. DRINKING, DRUGS, SMOKING: 2/5 much social drinking, some very brief smoking. Positive Messages and Role Models: 1/5 very little at all tinniest bit of redemption. Cast: “Michael Keaton”, “Nick Offerman”, “John Carroll Lynch”, “Lauren Den”, “Patrick Wilson”, “Linda Carrdelini”, “B . J . Novak”.

True story about McDonald's, very well done...

Ray Kroc is just like any other struggling American in the 1950's until he runs across McDonald's. He decides then and there that he has to be part of this company. This movie is very good. The Founder is based on the true story of the McDonald's franchise. I think that this movie is good for teens and adults. There is talks of marital problems, divorce, and some other maturer content. There is also a lot of swearing. There is flirting that goes on between two people who are both married to other people. In the end, The Founder also shows that the effort of persistence and dedication pays off. All in all, this movie was very interesting, and it gives you a different look at the McDonald's company. I definitely recommend this movie to anyone who enjoys McDonald's, likes history, or just wants to watch a good movie!

Not your average biography; main character is not a role model

Positive messages - 2/5 Positive role models - 1/5 (Main character is portrayed as the bad guy, but some supporting characters have positive traits) Violence - not present Sex - 2/5 (Mild innuendos and flirting, a couple is seen in bed) Language - 3/5 (“b—ch”, “damn”, one brief use of “f—king”) Consumerism - 3/5 (presents facts, not just an advertisement) Drinking/Drugs/Smoking - 1/5 (mild social drinking)

You'll never see McDonald's the same again

SPOILER!! If your a decent human you will probably feel very sad at the end of this movie. Ray Kroc was a lieing cheat, but a amazing salesmen. The "founder" of McDonald's isn't the real founders. It's sad to watch as these kind generous and gracious brothers loose everything to a lieing cheat like Ray Kroc. This is movie everyone should watch. It's not violent, and there is like no sex. 1 use of the f word. The finger. About 10-15 used of sh*t, and words like hell and damn. But kinda depressing depending on your sensitivity level

Good movie, content might not be appealing to kids.

True story of McDonald’s origin and history is compelling and draws you in young kids wouldn’t even get it. I didn’t give it a 13+ because it’s inappropriate for anybody younger than that, it just wouldn’t be interesting. Besides the company being stolen and other morally wrong decisions throughout the movie there isn’t really anything bad. There is one f-bomb and a few bullshits there is not a lot of swearing. Overall a good movie if you are interested in the history of Macdonald's and Michael Keaton is fantastic.
