Very Disturbing

The original Grudge movies were rated PG-13, and were extremely terrifying, like The Ring. This 2020 Grudge reboot, from Spider-Man director Sam Raimi, who serves as producer of this movie. Unlike the original trilogy, which was again, PG-13, this reboot is Rated R. This reboot (like the Evil Dead 2013 remake) is way more graphic than the American trilogy. You can see more of the same like the original three movies. This movie is not intended for kids, but should be recommended for a movie night. The 2020 remake of the 2004 American remake of the 2002 original (Ju-On: The Grudge) is hilariously worse than the American remake.

Good, but not great.

This movie was good, better than the critics said, but it's not above great in any way.

Violence: 8/10 - A person's eyes are torn out, a lady cuts off her own fingers, murders her husband, and commits suicide by jumping from flights of stairs.

Language: 7/10 - Uses of f*ck.

Sex: 1/10 - Just kisses

This movie was worth the watch, but it is a little slow, and some of the scares are predictable.

Final Verdict: 6.5/10

Not Bad

The Grudge is fun but predictable. Yes there is gore, but I'd say it's pretty tame for an R movie.

Boring- no plot

All the horror was just violent, you got immune to it because it was repetitive. It was not original and it didn't make any lasting impression.
