Extremely violent, but great film.

I love this movie, it's in my top ten movies of all time list, it's truly great. However, this is not meant for kids. At the time I watched this it was terrifying, including deaths in so so so many terrible ways. Most certainly a horror, but it was enjoyable. I wouldn't reccommend this to anyone under 16.

His best!

A thrilling movie with as much violence as any modern PG-13 action flim has. If you find this at a flea market for a dollar or two Give it a shot!

A Comedy

This movie is hilarious. Give it a watch if you want a good laugh. I’d say that this movie isn’t gory at all because every act of violence looks fake and is honesty laughable. The wife (Zooey Deschanel) is the stupidest person I’ve ever seen.

One hilarious disaster

This movie falls under the genre of 'unintentional comedy'. in case you don't know what that means, it's pretty much when a movie is so bad that it's actually funny. I'm not going to spoil anything because you will be baffled. However, it is quite violent and personally, it doesn't scare me but if your kid is sensitive to violence, don't watch it with them

A great comedy.

I can't take this movie seriously. Mark Walhberg was hilarious in his role. It sucks as a drama, but works as a comedy.

Great Movie!

This movie is great! I was surprised when I saw that it was rated "R". It seems more like a PG-13 film. It's a good movie. The movie itself isn't scary, but the plot is. As for the language: One use of "Hell", two uses of "a**hole", one use of "p*ssy" and one use of "b*tch". Lots of violence, but the gore looks so fake! Not one of those constant jumping movies. But there is tons of creative forms of suicide. Jumping from buildings, shooting self, letting lions eat you, getting run over by a lawn mower purposely, stabbing self, crashing a car, bashing head into windows, and two boys made a man so angry that he shot them. These are all forced symptoms of the plants' deadly gas they give off in the movie. This creates "the happening".

Pretty freaky!

This movie is quite gross out at the start. Not for the faint of heart. A pretty scary movie for a non horror. At one scene I couldn't watch through it without my parents. The ending was awesome! The whole movie is very scary. Younger children will not sit through it. Not that believable afterwards if that's what you want. A very sad movie. It nearly made me cry.
