OK for Mature Tweens, Beautiful Movie
It is a very tragic, sad love story. My daughter's friend's 15-year-old sister says, "Whenever I hear the theme song I start crying because the movie makes me feel so emotional." I watched this movie when I was 14 for the first time and I cried multiple times. In January, I let my 11-year-old daughter watch it with me and I feel confident I made the right decision. She is sensitive and we both were teary at some parts, but we made it through. The movie itself is wonderful, and even if it is rated PG-13, I think mature tweens could handle it. Hope this helps.
