The Summer I Turned Pretty Vibe.

I liked it! Great plot and story line the characters where great and the acting was good. Had some language including the B, S, H, and some others. The sexual stuff wasn’t horrible in this movie (The Summer I Turned Pretty is a lot worse then this) one part where Peter and Laura make-out in a hot tub everyone thinks they had sex but they didn’t. A few sex jokes, and some parts where they talk about sex. But overall great movie!

Mature only! Sex scene

Such a good movie! Warning: There is a scene in a hot tub where Lara Jean and Peter have sex. Not suitable for kids and teens who are not mature for their ages. Language, sex talk, etc. are common themes.

In my opinion

I think the movie is incredible it's just that there is some iffy things like making out, mild swearing, condom talking and other things. But despite all of the in my opinion i think the movie gives a great message about teenage romance.

good for tweens (and under depending on your kid)

Theres some light language, kissing and sometimes they talk about sex and porn. At a ski trip, counselors hand out condoms. Lara Jean and Peter supposedly have sex in a hot tub.

Nowdays

Nowadays people that are younger already heard these words. If you are fine with the language and the sex talk you will be fine!

Love it!

Such a good movie! There’s a few kissing scenes but nothing more, although on social media one things gets mistaken for another. Her dad gives her some “safety” for a trip which gets awkward. Overall though it’s a great movie- I hope to also read the books. I think if a who’s watching it is mature enough to understand what’s happening or for it to go over their head it’s fine for any age but I would defiantly let any 14 year old watch this.

Amazing movie!

The movie is heartwarming and the main character has a VERY sweet family with a supportive older sister and kind father. It does have alot of daydreaming but it is very sweet. The main character is wonderful! you get attached to Laura Jean so easly, and just want to keep watching her story. The only thing parents should be concerned about is the one hot tub scene. When i read the reviews it sounded like the hot tub scene was more than it was. It really wasn't bad. It was just a kiss in a hot tub and the main character was wearing leggings and a t-shirt for goodness sake. It didn't have any sex scenes but it did mention it a few times. There were only one or two curse words. The story was very positive and sweet. You will grow more and more attached as you follow Laura Jeans journey through highschool!
