What's the Story?

TREASURE TRACKERS follows Leah (Charity Rose), a California girl who moves to the small Southern town of Carterville. Feeling like a fish out of water at her new middle school, Leah finds friends in two misfits, Tessa (Amelia Salazar) and Marshy (Sean Jay). When the trio learn of a local legend about hidden gold cursed by the Raven Witch, they set off on an adventure to find and destroy it. Along the way, they must outsmart a group of older bullies also searching for the treasure, all while uncovering the dark history behind the town's founding. Their journey culminates in a Halloween night showdown as they race to stop the release of the evil spirit of the town's founder.

Treasure Trackers is an exciting adventure that will keep young audiences engaged with its mix of mystery, treasure hunting, and supernatural elements. The film's strength lies in its characters, especially Leah (Charity Rose), a confident and clever girl who leads the charge against bullies and uncovers the secrets behind the cursed treasure. Her teamwork with Marshy and Tessa highlights positive messages about friendship and standing up for what's right. The puzzle-solving aspect adds a layer of excitement as the kids work together to solve clues and avoid danger.

While the film delivers a fun, action-packed adventure, the plot occasionally veers into familiar territory seen in similar treasure-hunting movies. The rivalry with the bullies adds predictable tension, and the Halloween curse element may feel a bit clichéd to older viewers. Still, the film's pacing, diverse characters, and moments of lighthearted humor make it an entertaining watch for families. The spooky atmosphere is well-balanced with fun, and the climax involving a magical portal on Halloween night provides a satisfying conclusion to the treasure hunt.
