EMO AND HOT SCENE?!

Ok so I liked how the rock people were emo because I identify as a hardcore emo so that was nice UwU. Also some rock beats they played I tried to resist my head banging but I couldn’t it was just too good. But there’s this one scene in the movie that traumatized me. Poppy and Branch were getting steamy and it got WAY to inappropriate! And now I want to freaking bathe my eyes with bleach. Don’t watch unless your 18+.

Love, love, love it!

As a teenager, I thought this movie was absolutley amazing! I found the story line really interesting and I thoroughly enjoyed all of the musical parts. The reason why I rated the movie age 10 and up is because I believe that some parts of the movie is harder for younger children to understand, such as the meaning of the movie, and the flirty relationship between Poppy and Branch (which I'm a huge fan of), which is why I think it is more adapted to suit tweens and teenagers. I would have loved to see more romantic moments between Poppy and Branch and I definitely await a proper kiss if there were to be a third movie (kissing is present in a lot of other animated movies, so this movie series definitely needs one too). Overall, I absolutley loved the movie and I've watched it over 20 times.

Was pleasantly surprised.

My sister is autistic, and I love taking her to see movies. So when I saw that trolls world tour was on peacock I watched it with her. I was honestly expecting something kiddy and boring. Just something that my sister would enjoy. But when I started to pay attention to it and I genuinely enjoyed it. The message was surprisingly deep for something I thought was for 5 year olds. The settings (like the original) are really cute, looking like felt and tool. The characters were creative and nothing felt forced or created for a quick cash grab. All the situations the characters fell in felt true to the characters from the first movie. Not to mention the music analogy really made sense for addressing racism and inequality for kids who might not understand yet. Not to mention, it was a good way to educate all ages who watch this movie. Even the music was fairly good. The ads did not do the movie justice. Of course the scenes with the jazz troll were… interesting, but it wasn’t anything too inappropriate for children to watch. If you’ve seen the first movie with your kids and understand the type of jokes and darker elements then you know if they are old enough to watch. All parents are different with what they show their children though so if you thought the first movie where people try to EAT THE MAIN CHARACTER is fine, then the second is perfectly fine to watch.

Trolls World Tour: Good as a sequel, bad as a movie.

This film sure was something.. Now, I gave this 2 out of 5, but out of 10 it's 7.3. Why? Because it works as a sequel, but it's a BAD, REALLY BAD movie! But first, lemme split this review into two..... As a sequel: 3 out of 5 There we go! Now, this film works as a sequel. So, let's see. It follows it up well with the idea that [THE PLOT HAS BEEN CENSORED FOR YOUR VIEWING PLEASURE. IF YOU WANT THE PLOT, WATCH IT OR READ IT ON A PLOT SUMMARY WEBSITE OR WHATEVS.], and that's not bad! I mean, the plot twist (yes, there be a plot twist) of The Country Singers being the y[CENSORED AGAIN FOR YOUR PLEASURE]. It's good. As a standalone film: 2 out of 5 Just; Imagine this, a 2020 film with rapping, Party Rock Anthem, Spice Girls' Wannabe and MORE being sung by trolls upbeat and Pop-py. Yes. They even sing Trolls Just Wanna Have Fun (GET IT?!). It's cringey. Also, the HaPPy eNDiNg oOoOoOo--- I hate it as a standalone. It's really, really crap. Yes, it's meh.

A character calls another a “Boy toy”

Ok, so this movie was pretty good, and the animation was great. Only a few cringey parts (surprisingly) the music was equal or better, than the first one! My only complaint would be near the end, after Queen Barb turns branch into a rock zombie, she says “hey boy toy, it’s mullet time!” (Weird sentence Ik..) signaling him to hold Poppy hostage in order to turn her into a zombie too. I thought this was a little iffy for the movie, and definitely deserves the PG rating it has. Other than that, great movie! I recommend it…as long as your willing to explain to your kid what a boy toy is..but for younger audiences, (2-6) I think it would fly other there heads.

Attempting to be climatic and breathtaking, it fell splat.

This new trolls adventure is a rushed waste of time.
