Is It Any Good?

Our review:

This animated film from 2020 has a bizarre premise that could have made for quirky entertainment, but instead feels like a holiday slog. In Turkey Day, the evil Count Dracula hypnotizes Turk the turkey to cancel Thanksgiving Day. Supporting characters who come to the rescue include, wait for it, Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny, but despite the offbeat plot, the film plays out like a joke stretched far too thin. For a film with so many random elements, it feels like nothing happens. In addition to the uninspired story development, the animation is flat and unappealing, and it feels unfinished. While some kids might enjoy it, this turkey certainly does justice to its title.
