Violent night

It goes without a say that this movie is not for everyone. This is an action/comedy about Santa Claus saving this family from mercenaries. Yes, it's as dumb as it sounds. But it's also very fun and definitely got me into the Christmas spirit. First off, I just have to mention that David Harbour is AMAZING as Santa! He definitely stole the movie. Content wise, as seen in the title, expect gruesome violence. People die in many ways - stabbing, shooting, bashing, impaling, decapitating, shredding, exploding etc. (Just to name a few.) Most of the deaths are pretty bloody (blood splatters and spurts,) however some of the more graphic ones are cut away or are in the dark. There are definitely a couple scenes which linger on gore and detail. SLIGHT SPOILERS AHEAD: In one of the goriest scenes in the film, Santa kills a bad guy by sucking him up a skinny chimney using his powers. This results in the guy getting his head and limbs ripped off. Blood explodes everywhere and you get a good close up of his gory stumps in detail. END OF SLIGHT SPOILERS. It is probably also worth mentioning that the violence is done so in a comedic manner and is over the top, which could lessen the impact of the deaths. Language and sex wise, there are quite a few f bombs and a couple of sexual jokes. Nothing too much. Santa drinks at the start to the film and appears drunk. Surprisingly, Violent night packs a lot of heart and has some good messages of believing, and the true spirit of Christmas. And the movie ends on a happy and heart-warming note. In conclusion, Violent night is definitely not for everyone, but for those people looking for a dumb fun Christmas movie, Violent night is a ho-ho-whole lot of fun!

A New Christmas Classic

Ok, First of all this was a really good movie and definitely worth watching. there is a lot of swearing (F,MF,A,SH,CS,DS) basically every second word. the violence is pretty severe because it is very gory. All-in all this movie was pretty funny . there is a bunch of drinking and smoking. I would say not suitable for 14+ under but the amount of violence is crazy combined with the swearing

Violence 3.8/5. Swearing 3/5 Nudity 2/10

Well people are over exaggerating. Because first all it’s gory and a bit violent but it’s played comedy reasons! And plus my brother who is 10 years old watched Mortal Kombat 2021 the movie! MORTAL KOMBAT! And you can’t tell me that under 15+ are not allowed to see this. Like bro!? How is it 15? I’ll say 13+ Can definitely handle this. It has a lot of swearing I can tell you that but honestly it ain’t that bad! It’s just a movie and should be 13+ not 15

Looks like SANTA ate the wrong cookies...

It's...ok. It's watchable-ish. A little violent though, but it's a nice thriller. Watch out for the swearing and suggestive dialogue. I think teens can handle this.

Watch this movie!

I recently bought this movie for 20 bucks, amazing movie. David Harbour played Santa amazingly, he was stunning. Some gore, I wouldn’t call it bad, I watched it and I’m 13. There’s some stabbing, shooting, etc. but overall not bad. I would HIGHLY recommend you watch this! There is a bit of over-the-top swearing, but what can you do. Watch this movie!

Funny Santa Kills Bad Guys In Festive Ways But Sometimes In Normal, Non-festive ways.

This movie is stupid but in a good way. The violence is extremely over-the-top but it's done in a comedic way. One guy gets shredded up by some blades and we see all of the blood and chunks go flying through the air. It is really gross. I would say the violence is about the same level as the violence breaking bad, for anyone who's seen that. This movie is funny and the villain is played by the actor of Sid The Sloth from Ice Age. there is a lot of sex talk in this movie as well although there were no actual sex scenes. The swearing is also a bit much with frequent uses of the words "fuck", "shit", "ass", and "damn". This movie was good and funny but I don't know if I would say it's "worth watching". The writing was a little weak in my opinion and the characters were all pretty flat. None of them felt like real people, which isn't a problem but it made them less fun to watch. I'm not complaining. This movie is good, especially considering it's about Santa murdering criminals in festive ways, but it's not award-winning or anything. If you like over-the-top violence and Sid The Sloth you might like this movie but it's defiantly not a must-watch.
