What's the Story?

WALLACE & GROMIT: VENGEANCE MOST FOWL takes us back to West Wallaby Street, where dog Gromit is becoming increasingly concerned that Wallace (voiced by Ben Whitehead) is becoming overreliant on his inventions. All the while, a recent foe by way of the thief Feathers McGraw—who is serving a sentence at a zoo—is plotting revenge on the duo who defeated him all those years ago, hoping to use Wallace's latest invention of a "smart gnome" against him.

Is It Any Good?

Our review:

Aardman Animations' lovable duo return for their second feature film, and fans of the stop-motion series won't be disappointed. Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl maintains the same spirit and charm that Wallace and his loyal dog, Gromit, have brought to life for four decades—the pair first appeared on British television in 1989. While the studio has grown in size, this latest adventure still feels gloriously understated, thriving on its simplicity. Yet, despite the familiar formula, it's also topical. Wallace's latest invention is a "smart" gnome, who appears to go rogue, sparking a comedic and thrilling adventure that will keep both adults and kids entertained. As always, expect laughs too, with standout vocal performances from British comedy favorites such as Peter Kay, Reece Shearsmith, and Diane Morgan.
