Timely and convincing, this documentary urges collective responsibility and action to save the Amazon rainforest with a creative new approach. Blending realism with optimism, this documentary doesn't shy away from the environmental concerns, political turmoil, and economic battles, but rather refocuses its efforts on personal narrative and human emotion—adding a complex perspective on this vitally important ecosystem. While the political and corporate corruption on the country may have been glossed over a little, giving the Indigenous people a voice and a spotlight allows the people to share their stories with authentic spirit and passion so strongly that it's hard to walk away from such a powerful film and not be changed. Emotionally charged and powerfully heartfelt, this film is a strong reminder that this truly is OUR fight.
