This is a comedy with a lot of cultural irony

Just read the review . This is not a movie that encourage consumerism, and it looks like girls about age 13 will be capable to see the obvious humour in it. Watch it with your kids and use it as an opening to discuss typical early teens challenges.

Great Movie About Redemption of the Layers of Being Human

A movie with depth and, although predictable, quality acting. Definitely better suited for 13+, but there are some lessons to be learned here about friendship and growing as a person.

Stop Expecting Movies to Raise Your Children

As long as your beliefs aren't in line with those in some of these other reviews which state that this film does not encourage good "role-modeling", you'll love it! And every other movie in the world. Know why? Because YOU need to raise your children, not the silver screen. Emma Roberts never signed a contract to make your kid feel special and look up to her, she is an actress who happened to nail this role. Aside from mild teenage antics, it is squeaky-clean, folks, unless maybe you're a Mormon.

Cute movie for kids 11 and up that is.

Cute movie and so is Emma gosh love her. but maybe not a movie for the younger kids but 11 and up is just fine. Emma did a cool job in this movie. and she was pretty as a blonde and as a brunet.
