Decent Goofy Zoolander Sequel

Ben Stiller's goofy fashion model sequel is very, very funny, but not quite as much as the original.

Awful and crude movie!

Zoolander 2 is awful. Just awful. The violence is surprisingly bad, but nothing graphic. Language is fine, just like the first one, but the sex is terrible. Don't even get me started on an orgy hansel has with old women, goats, and everything in between. Extremely graphic sex talk, and shaming of fat people. So crude and vulgar.

A Truly Awful Movie

This movie, like its predecessor, contains frequent references to mature themes, and there are some drug- taking scenes. The original was so bad it was good, but this one is just plain bad. The jokes are recycled, the plot is underdeveloped and boring, and the exact theme of the movie is difficult to find out. In short, this movie is just terrible sex jokes and unnecessary scenes of drug taking.

Really funny but pretty pointless.

Anything you can imagine is in this movie, there's beastafilia, pedifelia and anything else you can think of. Still for those who can understand the jokes and references who are mature, it was ok.

good movie.

relatively good. I know i put good for kids ages 10 and up, but here is what i really think: it does NOT matter how old you are; it matters how well you handle with what most people think of as inappropriate content. there are a LOT of sexual references and jokes, there is a major shooting of pop star justin Bieber in the very beginning, there is a scene at the end where Derek Zoolander gets hit in the cheek with a knife, do not worry, that part is not so bad, and Mugato (the main bad guy) wants to sacrifice Zoolander's son, Derek jr. he is also fine, oh, yah, Hansel, the weird, blond male model from the previous film, is in LOVE (and i seriously mean love) with this orgy he hangs out with, and he also (this is just plain funny, not inappropriate) yells at the top of his lungs "WHO AM I?" i love that part, haha! oh, yeah, the end is REALLY!!! the best part!!! oh my goodness! i just can not get over how funny the end is!!! there is also this scene where this lady, um, i forget her name, but yes, the bathing suit model (if you have seen it) wears this skimpy bathing suit and swims all the way from this remote fashion model prison to Rome. okay, i liked the movie, but it could definitely been better. you do not want to show this to kids who do not like violence and most likely will not understand the jokes! my rating is PG-13 or NOTRATED i hope you found this review useful! p.s. people do say the f-word several times among other bad words

Most Disappointing Comedy to Date

I am a big fan of the original cult classic movie "Zoolander". Next to Anchorman and Meet the Parents I think it is one of the funniest films in my opinion. Then I found out they were making a second one and I was pumped. Besides the teaser trailer everything else I saw was gold. Turns out the "Gold" parts were all in the promos and trailers. The movie was unfunny 80% of the time. Probably one of the worst movies I've seen. If Ben Stiller makes a "Dodgeball 2" (I hopes he doesn't) he better fire the people who wrote the movie, get funny writers and a good cast without cameos every 2 seconds.

You can't walk into it expecting a masterpiece.

Short answer: Zoolander 2 is funny, passes the 6 laugh test and overall was a good film. Long answer: Zoolander 2 was a balanced film. Certainly not as good as the original which is one of my favourite films ever, but a good enough sequel to a later cult hit. I would describe the story but it would just seem like a slur of words put together in a paragraph. You must see the first one if you see this because you would have no point of reference because this film heavily relies on it's counterpart for the majority of the gags. Probably the best bit of the film was the cameos dotted everywhere. Some of them you don't notice, some of them will stick with you for the next year. My personal favourites were Susan Boyle and Justin Bieber (I was quite happy to see Justin being murdered). Despite all of this, I do have some reservations about the film. There was a 20 minute section in the middle which you didn't laugh at all, and the setup was a bit like: 'What? Why? Uh? Oh!'. In conclusion, this is what it is. Unsuitable for people who don't like Frat Pack humour, Toilet jokes, Sex jokes, What the actual **** moments, Penelope Cruz's annoying accent, general fun or you just lack basic human emotions, don't see this film. However, I like all of the above expect Penelope Cruz's accent, so yes. This review has been an anomaly compared to the critics but so what, I would be lying if I said I didn't enjoy it.
